Born and raised in Westford Vermont, Colin Rodgers strapped on skis as a youngster and decided he was made for ski racing. The Bill Koch League introduced him to the racing scene, which drove his desire to compete at Holderness School and race on the NCAA circuit for Middlebury College.
Colin made his name well-known as a junior, producing outstanding results as a J2 at the Biwabik Junior National Championships. In the coming years he worked his way through regional and club racing qualifying him to represent the United States at the 2001 Junior World Championships and 2004 U-23 World Championships.
Colin continues to progress and never ceases to be a top contender in the U.S. standings, currently ranked 9th in the overall USSA ranking list. As his results proved last season, he excels in sprinting, most notably in the classic technique. He produced several top 3 finishes in the Super Tour and finished 4th overall.
Currently, Colin trains in Ketchum, Idaho with the Sun Valley Olympic Development Team. His passion, dedication and drive for racing and training undoubtedly make him a top contender for the upcoming season.
